Operation Love Reunited - Three Generations!

Joe and I have had an amazing experience volunteering for Operation Love Reunited. Through this organization we had an opportunity to photograph three generations of military service in one family, two of which are currently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

While Jeremy prepared to ship out for his deployment, Ryan was home on leave from his tour. It was a perfect time to get the whole family together for a little fun at Gasworks Park in Seattle!

It was so much fun getting to know this family. We can't wait for the excitement and joy of their homecoming shoots!

Come see us at Westcrest!

Joe and I will be having loads of fun taking tons of pictures at the Westcrest Off-leash Dog Park BBQ this Sunday 7/19 from 12:00-3:00!

For $6 you can have an uber yummy lunch and for another $4 you'll get 5 raffle tickets to boot! Items being raffled include doggie accessories, dog walking services, training sessions and of course a full pet portrait session with us! I'm sure there are other fun items I don't know about so be sure to come by and check it out. All proceeds go right back into the park so we can keep it clean and beautiful.

In a couple weeks I'll post all the pictures we take at the BBQ in an online gallery and any proceeds from print orders placed will be donated directly to Westcrest. We love spoiling our Piper Dog with visits to this amazing park!

Vickie & Brian’s Wedding

When Joe and I photographed Vickie and Brian’s engagement session, it was immediately clear how twitterpated they were over each other. As impossible as it seems, it was even more evident on their wedding day.

Although close friends and family surrounded them throughout their wedding, Vickie and Brian seemed to transport themselves into a world where only they existed. It was beautiful and our eyes leaked more than once…

Ann and Peter Featured on The Knot!

Ann and Peter’s New Hampshire wedding was a truly amazing event and a huge testament to Ann’s multitasking abilities. While working insane hours in her demanding career, Ann found the time to plan each beautiful detail of her NH wedding from her home in Southern California and all went off without a hitch. Happy 3rd Anniversary

Today Joe and I are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. That's right... we're still newlyweds and lovin' every second of it.

I know I am going to sound like every cliche you've ever heard, but I have to say... Joe really is the most wonderful gift that I never saw coming and could have ever received. My life has expanded and grown in depth and richness since I met him. We laugh more together than anyone I have ever laughed with and he is truly my most favorite person to hang out with. That's saying a lot since we live AND work together.

These are pictures from our honeymoon in 2006. We went to the Canary Islands, then on to Germany. Both incredibly romantic and totally laid back. At least that's how we did it...

The entire trip my heart flooded with gratitude, for the gift of our relationship and excitement for the future before us. We have certainly faced our share of challenges, but I will gladly take them on if it means the next 50 years will be half as good as the first three have been.

Joe, I never thought I could love you more than I did at that time... yet it gets bigger every day. Thank you for surprising me, challenging me and most of all loving me.
