Two Peas in a Pod

This is one of my favorite pictures of my dad and I, which I love for one obvious reason… we have the same haircut.

Growing-up, my Dad was my partner-in-crime. We drove my mom crazy at the dinner table making disgusting food faces at each other and telling the same childhood riddles over and over.
“Who’s buried in Old Grants Tomb?”
Mom would placate us by pretending not to know the answers…
“Uum, I don’t know, King Tut?”
“No Mom, Grant is buried in Old Grant’s Tomb! Sheesh!”
Then my Dad and I would break into one of those laughing fits that hurt a little and eventually turn silent because you’ve stopped breathing.

All the fun and laughter my Dad brings into our lives is medicine for my soul and a gift I can never thank him enough for.

Father's Day Love, Kristi and Scott Lloyd

I am incredibly grateful to my Father-in-Law for shaping the love of my life into the man he is today.

Many of the qualities I love about Joe are direct reflections of his Dad. His hilarious sense of humor, love of music, artistic talent, amazing listening skills and his tender heart are the ones I thank his Dad for regularly. His passion for vintage cars is one I find endearing and slightly challenging. Thanks Jim.

I love the sweet way Joe looks at his dad in this picture. Their semi-matching plaid shirts is enough to just about break my heart.

Father's Day Love, Joe and Jim Romain

Wishing our Dads a Happy Father’s Day.

Forever and always,
Two Peas in a Pod.
