Operation Love ReUnited

Joe and I have been volunteering for a great organization called Operation Love ReUnited. This awesome group of people supports military families with a service member scheduled to deploy, currently in deployment or on their way home. Click here to learn more about the organization.

Christy planned a huge homecoming surprise to celebrate her husband Michael’s return from Iraq a few weeks ago. A million yellow ribbons, the Kirkland fire and Police departments, a stretch Hummer Limo, three news stations, a newspaper reporter, friends, family and the two of us all gathered to welcome Michael home. To say he was surprised is an understatement however he graciously spoke with everyone in attendance and modestly described his joy in returning home safe and sound.

We feel so honored to have captured this amazing event for Michael, Christy and their two beautiful daughters.
